I wish I know where exactly all the pictures of 1950s Japan were taken. My guess it's Tokyo and Kyoto. If you were a resident or can recognize the places, comment this post kudasai.

ReplyDeleteWould be great to find out where these were taken and the year and go to present day and see the changes.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that few pics are Osaka.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures were absolutely gorgeous! Seeing how life was in a different time AND country really gave me a new perspective on the world. One thing that I would be interested in knowing is how the Japanese culture is displayed through their music. If you know of any really interesting musical traditions of Japan it would be sooo nice if you could show them to me! I have a site at musicaddictscorner.com and I would truly enjoy your experiences! Thanks again for those lovely pictures...
