1950s in Color: Tokyo and Kyoto?

I wish I know where exactly all the pictures of 1950s Japan were taken. My guess it's Tokyo and Kyoto. If you were a resident or can recognize the places, comment this post kudasai.

It's Ginza as far as I can see :)

    Those pictures were absolutely gorgeous! Seeing how life was in a different time AND country really gave me a new perspective on the world. One thing that I would be interested in knowing is how the Japanese culture is displayed through their music. If you know of any really interesting musical traditions of Japan it would be sooo nice if you could show them to me! I have a site at musicaddictscorner.com and I would truly enjoy your experiences!     You can see the Ebisu bashi bridge in Osaka Japan on 4th and 7th photo.
